The art style is very adorable! It is very clear what I need to do in the game.  I like the theme of helping others in return they also help me too. One thing I notice is after spending 10 gold, it shows -10 gold. Other than that, everything is great!

This game was superb! I really enjoyed it. The conversation with every character was well written, and my attention was caught through all of the game.

I love your game, it was very clear on what to do and where to go even though I had to go back and fourth a bunch, the art is really great and I loved the theme of being kind to others and having them help you, it really comes across in helping the animal to get pixie dust and not being able to win if you disrespected the gardener!

It is cute and well-presented. The opening letters offer me to go forward to different places to experience.  I like the little visuals you created that make me want to explore more.

Viability: Very clear and I was able to figure out what I was supposed to do all the way to the end without a tutorial or hand-holding. Nice!

Presentation: Really solid use of color and typography to tell your story the inventory was very clear and understandable also.

Theme: Really good theme, I think your writing was really well done and added a lot to the engagement of the story, and also made it easy to follow what I was doing.

Engagement: Really engaging from the beginning by setting up an obvious goal: create a potion. The feeling of crossing things off of a recipe was very satisfying and made me want to keep playing.

This is very well presented. It was really fun to play and the story had a straightforward objective that was fun to complete. If you had more time, I'd love to see character's illustrations as we meet them.  The only thing that confused me was the opening prompt that looked like it wanted you to type your name, but it wouldn't let me enter anything. Maybe this is a me thing.

Oh dear! I just tested it and Reece and I can both do it... maybe it's just a computer issue?

This was such a cute game, I love the idea of magic mixed with baking! The colors and aesthetics of the game are very visually pleasing. I would love to see more recipes and interactions later in the game if you decide to work on this for your final!

The art is really cute, and benefits the story! I felt like there was a good path, and an objective for the player character to meet with lots of options along the way. There was one point where I reached a screen that said "are you ready to create your potion?" and the options are "village, library, garden, and yes!". Is this a coding error or was this intentional? Other than that, everything else ran really well!

ooo, I jut thought of something. I'd be kind of cool if there were other things to purchase along the way, so that by the time you make it to the shop you might not have the gold. Right now you're always able to purchase the supplies. It'd be cool if there were more places to mess up along the way

The first option should be "I'm not ready yet!" which if clicked reveals the options to go back to the three areas. You might have accidentally clicked it? I'll double check though

This game is super adorable and I love it, the art style/presentation is welcoming and warm and the story is super engaging. The only things I could think to improve would be some character sprites, backgrounds, etc and maybe some repercussions from the "bad" options. I also didn't realize you could look at the recipe to see what you needed but that was probably just me being oblivious, lol

I really like this game! I played both the lying and stealing way and the being nice to animals and with nature way; the messaging in the way you can't make the potion if you lie to the gardener is really strong! I would like it personally if there was a consequence for leaving the animal on the path to strengthen this theme more I love all the little illustrations you have for each of the ingredients, and if you go back to this game for more, I'd love to be able to travel more widely for all of them!

One quick mechanic thing: If I click the recipe tab on the, "Thanks for your purchase!" screen, and then return to that screen, it puts me at -10 gold. I think you can fix this with an (unless:) macro!

Viability: Straightforward and easy to understand. If some replay value was wanted for this, maybe being able to try making the potion before having all the ingredients and it blowing up or something, different options like that, could make some different endings.
Presentation: The color scheme is nice and warm, fitting to the vibe of the game. The descriptions are good, and the little pictures of items are cute.
Theme: The cozy magic school feeling is really nice, and with the descriptions it is easy to imagine the environments. If there was more time to work on this then I can see little images for the characters being used and "talking head" boxes for their dialogue, or pictures of the cute little areas we visit.
Engagement: It is interesting that you can choose "bad" decisions like stealing or leaving the animal, but it seems as if there are no real repercussions to making these choices. If the game is further developed, maybe getting caught stealing or having the animal help you out after you help it would add some variability.
